Care for Creation Ambassadors

To ensure we live out this CST value we have a dedicated team of Care for Creation Ambassadors who ensure that across the school we care caring for God's world.

Some of the actions are Care for Creation Ambassadors lead on are:

Gardening - ensure our school grounds are cared for and loved as God wanted
Eco-Shop - we have an Eco-shop which is open on selected days during the year for our school community to buy refillable items for them home. Some items include washing detergent, hand soaps etc. We are thinking about how we can also widen our products to include more fair trade items
Composting - We have a compost bin which we add our food and fruit peel leftovers from the classroom. We also make banana peel tea fertiliser for our gardening projects
Recycle Bins - we ensure every classroom and staff room have recycling bins and remind our school community of how to recycle correctly.

Care for Creation Gallery

We have also been working with 'Thrive' which is a sustainability project that we have undertaken with Heston Farm Estate to develop a sustainable areas within our school. Our pupils have been working hard planting seeds and flowers (for the bees) on our school grounds. We have also planted vegetables which we will share with our school food bank.
