Dear Parents and Carers, 

As a school, we are keen to support those who are in the position of being a Young Carer.

The definition of a young carer is:

'A young carer is a person under 18 who regularly provides emotional and/or practical support and assistance for a family member who is disabled, physically or mentally unwell or who misuses substances.'

If you consider your child to be Young Carer, please complete the information below by     06.01.2026  so that we can consider any additional support your child may need.

If your child does not fit the definition of being a young carer, you do not need to complete the information.

If you would rather speak in person to either Miss Bass or Mrs Shickle, please contact the school.
