Prayer Perspectives
'I feel very involved in prayer at school. We celebrate different events every year, for example, gathering together to mark the month of Mary and our new class saints. Even though we pray in class throughout the day we also pray the time of year, for example Hail Holy Queen in October and the Jubilee prayer for the Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee year.
Our in-class celebration of the Word is very prayerful. We show respect for the Word of God and have plenty of time to reflect.
I feel that I have a strong relationship with our church and I feel like Catholic life and prayer are important in our school.’
Victoria, Class 6A
'I feel very happy in prayer because it helps me to be close to God….Sometimes in class, we share our own prayers. We don’t have to be afraid because we are a prayer family. Sometimes we pray in our own language.'
Caden, Class 5A, Prayer and Liturgy Leader
